Honestly, when it comes to things I didn't like about Windows Defender, it has to be several years ago when it just wasn't efficient, it was slow, it didn't work well. Windows was able to pick up more, and it was able to keep my stuff safe better than anything else. And in fact, I've had the most success in removing things that were unwanted with Windows Defender, even after running several different, similar software.
